Beschreibung

Herzstück der Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Schule ist das über einen Luftraum mit allen drei Geschossen verbundene Forum als zentraler Aufenthalts- und Kommunikationsort. Eine doppelstöckige Brücke verbindet das neue Sekundarstufenzentrum mit dem bestehenden Schulgebäude. Bestimmend für die äußere Erscheinung des Gebäudes sind Mauerwerk, die farbig behandelten Metallprofile der Fassaden- und Fensterelemente sowie Glas, welches die Umgebung spiegelt.

At the heart of the Carl Friedrich Gauss School lies the forum, which connects all three floors via an atrium and serves as a central meeting and communication point. A two-storey bridge connects the new secondary school centre with the existing building. The building's exterior is characterised by masonry, colour-treated metal profiles on the façade and window elements, and reflective glass.
